ReSoultion

Seeing things from a different perspective. Be open to new ideas, new information, and new thoughts. To open up to new opportunities, I never done that but I am interested in learning. I am doing this ….. and I take Joy from it. I am doing this because it is my passion.

Pay attention to what is value to YOU. Your virtues are many. Choose to see what you did right instead of what went wrong. Hope exits. You Can! You Can Be More. There is a sense of purpose. There is an inner peace and a feeling of accomplishment and gratification within. Encourage yourself to take a step of action.

Life is a dance. Life has feet. There is more than your day-to-day life. Look upon things that are important to you. It does not matter what other people think. It is about discernment. Each new situation in life has much more to offer than you can ever imagine. Open up so that you may learn and receive more.  It is okay to make mistakes because other people make the same mistake. You are not alone. It is how you perceive it.

Know the Truth of You. Learn to discover, explore and ask questions Trust YOUrself. Your heart is your impulse. It will be your heart that will intuitively discerns what is and what is not right for you. Pay attention to your sense of purpose, and then let your actions toward that.

There is always another way of doing things. There are Infinite number of choices and infinite number of possibilities. You can do something different.  You can! Everything is a potential. There are no perfect answers. There are no single answers. There are no absolutes. Explore the potentials and recognize we all have skills and experiences.

How you interact with the world. Participate. Joyfully participate. Be a participant in any situation or moment. Experience in the joy of participating. Open your heart to those things that give you joy. Honor the playfulness of Spirit. Enjoy life as much as possible.

Be Smitten

Life is an ode to nature. Life pays homage to life itself. Your life has strength. It has energy. It has a will all its own. Life moves on it own accord, filled with energies. You will be only where you need to be. You will do only what you need to do. It is understanding self and how we co-mingle with everything. Be aware of the effect you have upon the world.

Revere life. The joy of being alive, the joy of being able to participate with life. Today we are going to rejoice. We are going to celebrate the fact that no matter how dual life is, it has a good side. Each day is unique and will never repeat itself.

Go discover. Let life present itself, and you will see how wonderful life is. Enjoy the journey.

Trust Self-

All answers are inside you. Have you noticed, we keep searching and searching for "something" when everything is already within us. Embrace all parts of yourself. Trust that you are on a path pursuing your own inner growth and discovery in whatever way that is appropriate for you. There are many layers of truth to understand. See the truth of your inner strengths, see the truth of your inner weaknesses. Learn how your mind attaches so you can learn how to detach. In other words, recognize how you co-mingle with life. Claim responsibility for your actions in whatever way appropriate. It is in the silence that you get the answers.

Enjoy and celebrate life. Honor the child within. Be playful and joyful. Life is a state of ease. Live in balance. We all learn from everyone.

Thanks and Giving

Each year at Thanksgiving, many Americans share what they are grateful for or bow their heads in prayer to give thanks. You and I have much to be grateful for but there are many people whose life experience are stuck in survival mode.

You know we live in a society that's in a mad rush for stuff. America is the only country in the world where people have a two car garage filled with stuff, and a $15,000 to $25,00 car sitting in the driveway because they cannot get it in because of the stuff. The irony of it all, we are in a mad rush for more stuff. We want better and newer. The advertising entice us - its "new and improved" and we need this. We deserve this and we say "okay" and buy more stuff.

If you ever feel if anything in your life is not enough, appreciate the abundance in your life. Even in the most apparently awful situations, we can derive some benefit if we have the right mindset.

When it comes to gratitude, the word that jumped out at me throughout is practice. I found these words to be a call to action. And because we manifest what we feel, we unconsciously create circumstances in our lives. Then there is a tendency to react to those circumstances.

Remember the spirit of the season. Celebrate the simple joys of the season. This the perfect time to renew connections with family, and friends . Engage all of your senses to appreciate the special sounds, sights and the smells that are the memories of a lifetime.

I believe, thankfulness is a state of being and a way of life, and we usually fail to live in state of thankfulness because we take it for granted,  In other words, being thankful is expressed through our attitude in living life.

Wishing you a joy filled thankful season of giving and receiving.

A thought for the day

Emerson said that if the stars came out only once a year, everybody would stay up all night to behold them.

We have seen the stars so often that we do not bother to look at them anymore. In like manner, we have grown accustomed to our blessings that we do not show kindness. During this holiday season let all of us remember to show love and be thankful.

Peace of mind

Have you noticed “Peace” is a word that is uttered almost as frequently as “truth,” “beauty,” and “love.” It may be just as elusive to define as these other virtues. Yet it is so often absent from lives today. From “Road Rage” to “Conflicts,” our culture does not partake of peace on a regular basis.

We long for it, we wish we had it, but we seldom find it. Even in the church we don’t always see it. That leads to a question: Why is that some people have peace while others of us are going to pieces

We typically think of ‘Peace’ as the absence of war; or lack of hostility. As a school teacher, my students will use the word peace to mean chill out, or they say peace out to mean goodbye.  Any good dictionary will define "peace" as freedom from war, harmony, concord, agreement, calm, tranquility, serenity, quiet, undisturbed state of mind, absence of mental conflict, contentment, acceptance of one's state and the absence of anxiety. It will list its antonyms as war, anxiety, disorder, disturbance, disruption, conflict and commotion.

Peace can mean a couple of different things and as a culture we have all these saying: “Rest in peace”  “being in peace” could mean I am okay, or “Peace of mind” getting away from it all or “peace and quiet” solitude or rest. In many languages the word for peace is also used as a greeting or a farewell, for example: the Hebrew word Shalom or the Arabic world Salaam – which has multiple other meanings in addition to Peace which includes good health, wholeness, prosperity, well being (hallmark greet

In other words Inner peace refers to a state of being mentally and spiritually at peace. Peace of mind is generally associated with bliss and happiness.

There was a time when I thought peace was a destination, in much the same way I imagined I’d eventually arrive at happiness, success or enlightenment. It seemed like something I needed to chase or find. I’ve since realized that peace is always available, and like any desirable state of mind, it requires effort, even if that effort entails consciously choosing to be still.
Sure, our circumstances affect our mental state, but they don’t have to control them, not if we make tiny choices for our well being. I believe Attitude is everything. Are you a glass half full person or a glass half empty person> I tend to be a glass full gal.
Admittedly, it’s not easy to choose peace when we’re going through tough times. I still go through periods when I get caught up in worries and stresses, and it can feel like that’s the only available response to things that have happened. But it’s not. There are countless things we can do to create peace of mind. I try to distract myself by putting on music and dancing around the house, or
No matter what happens in the world or in our own individual lives, there a place to turn for stability. We get to look toward the future with hope, regardless of life's and the world's circumstances? The world around us is ever changing. Hope is a powerful feeling that represents a mindset or an attitude. Allow yourself to enjoy the little things found in special moments.

Gratitude

Gratitude is a great reminder to me to always count my blessings. One of My favorite holidays of the year is Thanksgiving because its history has a single purpose: to stop and express thanks for the people and the things that are such an essential part of our lives.

Each year at Thanksgiving, many Americans share what they’re grateful for or bow their heads in prayer to give thanks. There is plenty to be thankful for apart from the food on our plate. Thankfulness is something that should be practiced on a daily bases and not just a 1-day holiday in November.

Life presents challenging circumstances almost every day. It is easy to lose sight of the good things happening around us because we are consumed with the negative.  Feeling gratitude is an important practice that I have brought into my daily practice.  Feel grateful for all that surrounds you, grateful for the gifts that life gives you and grateful for your awareness. You are alive and here on this planet and that is something to feel good about.

Tis' the season to give thanks for all the many blessings in our lives great and small. I choose to be grateful for Life. Each day given to me is a blessing. I am alive; breathing, laughing, walking, talking, and smiling.

The challenge is to carry this attitude past the Thanksgiving season.

Life is good

Are you a glass half full person or a glass empty person? I tend to be a glass full gal.

It is ultimately our attitude. Try taking a moment and reflect on all the good things that have happened in your life. Instead of focusing on what you don't have, focus on what you do have, right now. Try it! Count your blessings. Jot them down. At least stop and think of as many things as you can that you are thankful for right now.

Here is my list:

1. My relationship with everyone I meet(people and animals)
2. My home and the joy of sharing it with others
3. The joy of laughing
4. My relationship with my 3 beautiful cats
5. This new season of my life, where I am living my dream
6. Dark chocolate and that I have enough to eat
7. The fact that I am warm and dry and comfortable
8. The fact that I am healthy, and able to exercise regularly
9. My church and the blessings in my life

Being grateful has a positive impact and affect on the way you think and feel.

My wish is that this holiday season's attitude of gratitude would be contagious and that people will spread it forward throughout the world. It starts with me and you. Let us make this holiday season a great one by being grateful for things great and small. You do that by making a conscious choice to turn toward positive appreciation. Think of things, people or experiences you are grateful for.

A thought for the day:

Gratitude is the state of openness to love, to our Source of well Being.

Let's be upfront

Self discovery is the greatest joy in life.

What I am recently learning is............... there are issues upon issues. There are situations upon situations and the real valid part is to realize what are my issues. What is important to me and then confront that first before I can confront the external issues.

With that, it is not about making mistakes; it is about taking steps forward. You are a participant with what you do because You are the one that is there. Every event of your life you have experienced and for all of the changes in life that you have experienced you have been there. You make a choice.

If you know self, if you have a nice relationship with self, if you have the capacity to look at yourself and realize that you are a mixture of your life experiences. Right, or wrong, you are sent into this world to be who you are, because only you can do this particular kind of act. WE have nothing to be ashamed of. We have nothing to defend.

I am learning to modify by behavior. I am learning to not over step my boundaries. Every moment we are different. One of the most valuable lessons that I learned is there are likely to be periods when you question all your beliefs.  I find that truth is not something that is stationary. What may be truth for you at this moment may be different the next as you go through different experiences. When we are able to adapt to changes in life at the same time be grounded in ourselves.

What I gained, Being in the moment and trusting in life’s processes. Through faith, courage and gratitude, I believe we can do anything with a positive attitude. There is unlimited potential in every one of us. Everything worthwhile is a risk.

A time to search our hearts

All that any of us really can do is live what we are. Think about what it means to be in the here and now, focused in this precise moment. Each moment is a time for experiences, for choices and reflections.

The most detrimental thing we can do to ourselves is to look for a reason outside of ourselves for why we feel the way we do or for why we blame ourselves in the process.

You will recognize that your emotions, judgments, self worth, and your internal conversations tell us more about ourselves than anyone in the world can tell you. The key to finding peace and being more positive begins by becoming an observer of your own life. And a sense of humor is vital. It is a way to look back at what we have learned with love instead of judgment.

What the future holds for us depends on our state of consciousness now. Being passionate about things adds value to our life. Believing is Being. Even on the darkest of days, it is the spirit of hope that allows us to take another step and to try again and to persevere.

All of us have struggles at some point or another. An attitude of acceptance ‘it is what it is with a sprinkling of faith “this too shall pass will allow you to move through these times of challenges. From this perspective, I see life as such a remarkable and rich experience. Your sense of who you are determines what you perceive as your needs and what matters to you in life.

I recognized that I am a mixture of my life experiences.  Personal power lies in our thoughts and attitudes. What you focus your attention on now will influence what you attract to your life in the future. See the potentials. See the possibilities.– it is our perception, our attitude.

Life is how you make it. The joy of participation is what puts the value in your lives. Trust yourself to make the right choices.

Live in a state of ease

There are no right answers; there are no wrong answers. What we do to serve life automatically benefits all of us because we are all included in that which is life.. Each of us is responsible for how we cooperate with life. The amazing part is, you are sent into this world to be who you are. You are a participant with what you do because you are the one that is there doing what you are supposed to be doing. Every outcome is perfect and each and every one of us defines the right way of doing things that are appropriate.. WE are all different and meant to be that way. So you cannot do it wrong, just your way

How you focus and how you participate in a situation.

It is not what you do but the emotions behind it. Every choice we make motivated by either fear or faith directs our spirit. Every thought that crosses our minds, every belief we nurture, every memory in which we cling translates into energy.

What do you want to share with the world each day?

Do things you really enjoy which gives you pleasure and eliminate sacrifices from your life as much as you can. Laugh, smile, play and have fun. Invite curiosity and enthusiasm within. Be amazed. Be surprised, this cost nothing but gives sooooooooo much.

A thought for the day:

Joy is what happens when we allow ourselves to recognize how good thing are.

Participation

Think about what it means to be in the Here and Now.

For me, in this precise moment where you are physically and actively participating rather than where your mind allows you to be.  Every minute you are doing something is a time for experience, for choices and reflection. You live this experience, you choose what is best for you and the result of the choices you make will be reflected in the future.  You cannot do it wrong, just your way of doing things. There are no absolutes.

Life is made up of experiences. How many experiences have you missed because you feared erring? What matters is not whether you make mistakes. What matters is how you react to those mistakes, what you learn from them and how much you evolve from the mistake you have made. The real culprit is inaction.

When we are doing, then we are connecting to the world and being in the present moment. WE are taking a step of action that feels good to us. It is not important about the outcome of the step; it is that you are taking a step toward a direction. Free yourself from the mind dominance. Become present. Be in the now. Focus on the moment. As soon as you honor the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve.

A thought for the day:

Enlightenment is rising above thought.  Self Mastery is about being able to know those things, which undermine your sense of participation.

Being okay with who you are

No matter who you are, no matter what you do, no matter what you attract or how you live your life, There will never be another You. Accept all of you, differences and all. You are exactly as Gold/ Divine created you. Each of us is whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy. It is our Divine Birthright.

Each one of us is a Powerful and Spiritual Being!

We are more than our profession, our role in life and our materials. Life teaches us lessons. Open up your heart. Reconnect with your feelings. Know thyself. Know who you are confidently, peacefully and with poise. Just for a while, stop thinking and look into your heart and open it up. Let love enter. Emanate self love, emanate love towards others, emanate love toward the earth and the animals.

Self love comes from the inside out, never the other way around. Be who you are with all of your heart.

Make each day count

The mind/body synergy is not limited to our physical bodies. Everything is composed of energy: biological, chemical and spiritual. Some energy fields are compatible with one another, some have a neutral response, yet others may be incompatible.

It is a process (that I learn daily) that involves shifting away from the natural inclination on what is wrong to having a positive mindset focused on your purpose.

Be healthy. Be happy.

Being Healthy

Do you need permission to exist? You are what you need. Each and every one of us defines the right way of doing things that are appropriate. There is no right or wrong way, just your way of doing things. There is only perception.

Be healthy by caring and feeding of your body. Embrace things with a sense of focus.

Get rid of stress deliberately by making a noise --Move the body – move your thoughts. You are changing. Recognize the change. If you cannot see it then recognize that it is different. Accept that it will be different. Discover without pain so you are not adversely affected.

When you are faced with something you cannot change, here are two suggestions:
1)   Move your body faster causes the blood to move around a little bit
2)   Move your thoughts by causing the brain to stop dwelling on problems

This changes the energies within and it helps to change your focal point. Then we get to sort things out and see if it is something you are willing to change. Putting things into perspective. You get to discover yourself. It is you looking for a new insight, or a new thought and or a new understanding of the moment. It is that place of magic, of hope.

Relationship of one

The journey to a new future begins with you. The relationship you have with yourself is the most crucial relationship there is. Everything is a direct result of your relationship with yourself. When you know who you are, you send energy proclaiming yourself to the world. Your thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs of yourself become evident to those around you.

You will discover that your emotions, judgments, self worth, and your internal conversations tell you more about yourself than anyone in the world can tell you. By getting in touch with yourself, you will learn to deal with all your feelings--the good, and the ugly. One of the most important things you will learn is that ignoring problems does not make them go away. Ignoring a problem will only widen the separation between the problem and a potential solution.

You will understand with great clarity that you have choices: you can either speak up or remain silent. Most people tend to react only to the expectations of others. Their entire life is driven by the opinions of other people. We wait with anticipation to see whether we have met with approval or rejection. Most of us are so narrowly focused that we cannot see all possibilities that lay before us.

Everything is a moment and nothing is a monument until you make it one. Our view is myopic from its nature.  Each emotion you have is an emotion you have. WE amplify things, we do things to heighten or lower it. Everything is a creative force/energy.

There always is another way. Just ask yourself: What can I do differently. Discover. Change is constant and it is a natural... Change happens in a blink of an eye. The amazing part is, that there are no single answers; there are no absolutes. Just because you think you cannot reach it one-way does not mean there is not another. It is what it is until you choose to explore more: to expand, and discover new insights new thoughts and new ways. Take the time to discern what really matters to you.

Personal power lies in our thoughts and attitudes. Form your mind around possibilities; our task is to contribute the best of our energy to every situation.

A thought for the day:

Inner journey

The search of inner peace is a lifestyle decision. Your experience is a result of your decision and not the cause of it. We embark on a quest for our own enchantment. We are free to alter how we view the world, how we respond to situations and how we react to people, what we believe and what we do.

Life can be unkind at times. There are days when we cannot seem to rise above our mundane existence, when we forget that there is more to life than what can be experienced in the limited scope of our mind

Ultimately the goal is about deepening your relationship with your true self and live life as consciously and aware as possible striving to realize your fullest potential as a human being.

As one of my teachers would say, if you choose to change something change the smallest thing possible first. All I did was to change my perception and my attitude. The power of thought, the powers of words, then you get to change the view.

Self Realization

A thought for the day:

All that I look for, that I looked for all my life has always been right inside of me.

The woman I long become.......The woman, Spirit created me to Be. What happened to me? The excited and enthusiastic me who was killed off and then buried long ago under the refuse of other people's opinions, preferences and expectations as well as the destructive ones of my own parasitic thoughts of self loathing.

Snap out of it! Do something different. Change your attitude, change your life. Embrace your past as a strength. Use your past as a tool. Learn from your past with wisdom and a sense of humor.

Make a conscious choice to shed the “old”: old issues, old guilt, old responses, old resentments, old rivalries and old patters. This way you get to embrace new people, new predicaments, new places, new pleasures and new passions. What the future holds for you depends on your state of consciousness now.

I chose balance, harmony and peace, and I express it within my life. Becoming a woman with a past, I celebrate my quirks, feel secure in my own skin, face down my fears and cherish my foibles. I can reshape, reclaim and recreate the world in my own image. I am grounded in the soul knowledge that there is no other woman like me, never has been nor never will be another me.

Sense of wonder

Challenges are apart of life. It is better to laugh at it then to cry. Our thoughts and behaviors are basically directed by emotions, which either permit or prohibit what we can think and how we can act. We stumble through life. We are not supposed to have all the answers. It is all right to not know the answers.

Here are some healthy life affirming thoughts:

  • Honor the child within. Be Enthusiastic, curios, joyful and playful!
  • It is okay to be a little selfish with one self. Love ourselves. Indulge ourselves. It is necessary for our health and well being.
  • Live in a state of ease.
  • Seek to live authentically. Seek to be fully you – by living your truth in every moment and in everyway. Truth makes the Spirit soar. Truth sets the mind free. Truth opens the heart and truth ignites the passion.

A little laughter,
A little perspective,
A little humor,
And a little sense of excitement

That is how you help yourself.

Find your happiness

We can alter our lives by simply altering our attitudes of mind. Attitude is a reflection of the person. What is going on in the inside, shows on the outside.

Just for today I will be happy.

Just for today I will try to adjust myself to what is and not try to adjust everyone to my desires.

Just for today I will try to strengthen my mind.

Just for today I will be unafraid, especially to believe in myself.

Just for today I will have a quiet half hour all to myself and relax.

I realize the power within me is greater for me than the power of another.  I realize that negative thoughts create negative experiences and positive thoughts create positive experiences; therefore, I will fill my mind with positive thoughts and reflections.

No one fails in life. Instead of saying the word can't, have a sense of will. I will take a step. I will take an action toward something. Life is participatory joy. Do it! Choose to participate. Love every aspect of your life. Love ever aspect of yourself. What matters is family, friends and relationships; what you did for other people, what they did for you, how you helped and were helped. That is the heart of happiness.

A thought for the day

Believe you can be better than you ever thought you could.

Doubt the doubt

Do we need permission to exist?

Do not fight against the flow. Trust your senses.  Trust yourself to make the right choices. We all have our own perceptions. There are no right answers; there are no wrong answers. Every outcome is perfect. You are what you need. Accept your uniqueness. There is no competition and no comparison, for we are all different and meant to be that way. Thus, what we think and feel is not set in stone. Accept that you are individual with an affect and cooperate with that affect.

Learn to internalize, to look within yourself to find your own logic to discover your own opinions and make it your own. We define the right way of doing things. Look at yourself positively because nothing is broken within. If you want something different than explore. You get to explore your way, your habits instead of judging them or fixing them.

Wishing you a world of wonderful things. May you know great Joy.

Happy Fourth of July!

Relationship with self

We live in this world. There are different perspectives, and different meanings based on our life experiences. Life is how we make it. Each of us is responsible for how we cooperate with life. Joy is ultimately not dependent upon other people, but on our individual relationship with life. Be open to what will happen.

Live your life. You cannot ‘retire” from life. Know that you have an affect without knowing the meaning of it.

Do things to warm the heart and fill the Soul with joy. For me I do 10 practices: music, dance, nature, selectivity, books, laugh, play, smile, imagination and gratitude. The Spirit in which you act.

True comfort comes inside

The relationship you have with yourself is the most crucial relationship there is.

You will discover that your emotions, judgments, self worth, and your internal conversations tell you more about yourself than anyone in the world can tell you. By getting in touch with yourself, you will learn to deal with all your feelings--the good, and the disappointments. Life is never going to be obstacle free. We are all a work in progress.

The key to finding peace and being more positive begins by becoming an observer of your own life. Start paying attention to how your reactions affect your actions. As you live with greater awareness you may begin to observe patterns of negative self-talk and limiting beliefs.

Our words, and our emotions impact self, and our relationships with everyone and with everything. All actions have an effect whether you know it or not, whether you want to or not. You will be affected by the effect you have upon the world.

What the future holds for you depends on your state of consciousness now. Being passionate about things add value to your life.

Manifest destiny

There is a period of great change. Many things that worked in the past no longer do. Life itself is a rhythm. It is a vibration, a pulsation at the very heart of all that is. Within the universe there are no limits. For all of life exists as a tool of your own creation and all its events puts forward opportunities for you to choose and be who you are. In other words, you are the creator of your reality. And life illustrates no other way for you, than that way in which you think it will. You are the author of everything that happens to you.

Life is an ongoing process of creation. You are creating your reality every minute. Life is how you make it. There is always choice. There are endless possibilities. Be open to what will happen. Just because you think you cannot reach it one way does not mean there is not another. There are new and different ways waiting to be discovered. There is really more than one way to see the world. Give yourself opportunities.

I believe life is our greatest possession. All of life is a gift. It is truly incredible. It is truly amazing.  Live your life making the greatest value with every moment in your life. Life happens through us. Life is to be lived.

Making A Difference

Every life is a story that must unfold. People have grown used to confirming their lives to a brief silver of time, but it may be that we just go on and on. As one of my teachers would say, our lives are moments tied end to end.

You cannot change the scars that life leaves on you, but you can change their meaning. Take the time to discern what really matters. Prioritize. You are going to have human interactions moments, emotional challenges, but don't be in place of fear. When you are faced with something you cannot change, change your focal point and see if it is something you will change. Putting things into perspective tells you which battles to fight and which ones not to fight.

What matters is that you find the inner well being and contentment. It is you looking for a new insight or a new understanding.

Take life into your hands. Respond instead of react. Take charge. Be committed to change and take steps toward the future. It is not what you do but the emotions behind it.

When there is a crisis pay attention to what is there. You can observe the way you are feeling about a thing, not as a problem or as a judgment but as part of the solution. All actions have an effect.  You do not have to blame anyone else. Recognize your thoughts within and recognize how you are participating in that moment.

There is always a point of self discovery, a point of greater clarity, and a point of newness. It is wondrous. There are infinite possibilities.  Be open and receptive. Change happens in a blink of an eye.

Our world is changing. There is a lot of potential that has not been created yet and will be because you saw it another way. New Doors will open up and wonderful people will enter your lives.

What are you embracing?

Gut Instincts

At times in our lives, we've all been aware of a "gut feeling" guiding our decisions. Too often, we dismiss these feelings as "hunches" and therefore untrustworthy. Sometimes when you think you're guessing, your brain may actually know better. What is your body trying to tell you?
I discovered that there is a deeper problem at work, not paying attention to one's guts. In other words, not listening to one's instincts. Most people in Western society don't pay much attention to the messages their guts are sending. But, guts can and do “speak” to us and we can learn to listen by paying attention to the solar plexus. We may actually know more than we think we know in everyday situations,

You've probably heard the phrase “gut instincts.” Well we all have gut instincts because research has suggested that we have a “gut brain.” The gut produce neurotransmitters just like the brain. There are also more nerves sending messages from the intestines to the brain than there are nerves sending messages from the brain to the intestines.

The solar plexus is the soft area just underneath the breastbone and above the stomach. This area marks the place where a network of nerves radiating outward in all directions like the rays of the sun, hence, the term solar plexus.

The solar plexus tenses when something is wrong and relaxes when something is all right. The tension makes us hold our breath and the relaxation helps us breathe deeply. I am discerning that the only roadblock to well being are my thoughts of lack or unworthiness. Transform your thoughts into positive magnets for bringing joy into your life.

Listen to your body’s messages with love and compassion.

A thought for the day:

Pain is a signal you need to  go within and listen. What you resist, persists. So when something does not feel right, pay attention.

Peace and Love

Personal power lies in our thoughts and attitudes. Therefore, form your mind around possibilities, Our task is to contribute the best of our energy to every situation with the understanding our effect.

How you focus, and how you participate in a situation -- Focus on what matters to you, your passion. Yes, you will make mistakes, but pay attention to what matters to you. It is  your drive and force that leads you and helps you decide the choices you make.

Ask yourself: Is there joy, ease and lightness in what I am doing?

Knowing that no situation or person will be exactly the same tomorrow. Change is constant and it is a natural consequence of life. Treasure the way you see the world, it is unique to you. Value it. New beginnings always follow closures. There always is another way., just look, and ask yourself: What can I do differently.

Handle stress with love, respect and integrity. Let go of fear and doubt and life becomes simple and easy. Our words, and emotions impact self and community.

In the spirit of love, I am always grateful that no matter how independent I am, I will never outgrow my need for smiles, hugs and the warmhearted ways of people and animals.

Happy Mother's Day.

Self Healing

Everyone has problems and sometimes a hug is all you need, the power of a simple hug.

A hug is not a cure all for every situation, but it only takes a hug, a heartfelt and warm embrace to change the lives of others. What does the power of a simple hug mean?

Hugs are affirming, and you are just happier. It feels good within. It is comforting and it creates bonds between individuals. A sense of calm is one of the most commonly experienced results of human touch.

What a wonderful action to take.

Research has shown us, the benefits of human touch have been utilized since the dawn of humankind. Whether it is a massage, a caress or a simple hug, human touch can result in profound and positive psychological effects for people of any age, young or old.

Being touched is a basic human need. It is important to human survival as air, light, water and food. Rooted in the belief that energy flows freely between human beings, making physical contact with another fulfills the fundamental desire to be connected.

A simple touch is an acknowledgment of your presence and your value. Hugs foster community and camaraderie.

Hugging is natural, Hugging is healthy. It is sweet; it has no preservatives, non polluting, non taxable, and is fully refundable and 100% wholesome. Hugs are a big part of my life; it helps me connect with others and share my joy. Hugging is practically perfect. When I reach out and touch someone, it is a way of saying I care. The effects are immediate for both the hugger and the person being hugged. It cost nothing but gives much. Hugs make me feel happier.

What do you love to do?

Within the medical field, health practitioners understand the importance of touch to help heal patients, The nerves in the body relax allowing the mind to rest and it releases a hormone oxytocin, a hormone thought to calm and counter stress, and it promotes resilience, a stronger immune system. The health benefits of physical touch extend throughout our lives.

Several scientific sources suggest that everyone needs at least four hugs a day for healthy survival, eight hugs a day for emotional strength, and 12 hugs a day to really grow and be empowered.

Let us do our part and change the world with Hugs.
