Mind, Body and Spirit

Nurturing your mind, body and spirit. Well-Being encompasses all our parts, not just the physical body. When our emotions are in turmoil or our mind is bombarded with obsessive thoughts our body and spirit are affected. How we approach life, affects our physical and mental health and our experience of the world. Maintaining a balance of the mind, body and spirit is necessary to live a fulfilled life. The three are interconnected.

Wellness matters. Everything we do and every emotion we feel relates to our well being. Taking care of our physical bodies is an important element in caring of our whole selves. It is important to listen to our bodies when they talk to us. Pain is a signifier that something needs your attention. The natural healing arts have been with us for ages by engaging and supporting our body's innate wisdom. We need to pay attention to what helps us keep in balance. It may be trying to tell you something important.

Your mind and spirit may be the most overlooked and under appreciated components of your well being. Only when we learn to nurture our body, mind and spirit and keep them in balance, can we live more fully.

  • Develop your level of self awareness
  • Pay attention to your thoughts
  • Focus your mind on subjects that benefit you
While life can't be simply boxed into a formula, I have found these principles in mind can be of great assistance in most facets of life.
