Excitement develops when you are moving toward your desires. Passion happens when you are taking steps by intention and expanding.

New Day New Way

So at this time when many of us reaffirm life, celebrate Santa Claus, feel hope and look forward to the advent of a new year, for others it is just another day. But this time can be a new beginning if we can see the helpful part in it. Maybe we can begin to see infinite possibilities -infinite choices -infinite potentials.

Food for Thought from Arthur Lenehan:
Everyone needs recognition for their accomplishments but few people make
the need known quite as clearly as the little boy who said to his father: “Let’s
play darts.  I’ll throw and you say ‘Wonderful!’”

Give a little More

Everything we do is a co-creation. We may stand alone, but that is just the body. In spirit, we stand with all. And it is universal: "for ALL the people." It doesn't matter who you are, what you've done, where you've been, or where you're headed —Others are no better or worse than us. We are just different.
It’s in your heart. It feels warm.. You can’t buy it, and you can’t get it from anybody else.—it’s inside us. Today I choose Joy.

Integrity means following your moral or ethical convictions and doing the right thing in all circumstances, even if no one is watching you. Integrity is the foundation of character. Integrity is a value. It is your choice of values and resolution to live by those values that form your character and personality.Having integrity means you are true to yourself and would do nothing that demeans or dishonors you.

The single most important quality you can ever develop that will enhance every part of your life, is the value of integrity. Integrity is the core quality of a successful and happy life.

Give Thanks

There are many blessings that come from being grateful for the good things we enjoy.

Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, gratitude reaps many rewards.
Gratitude is both a skill and a personality trait – with time, it develops and matures.
Food for Thought from John F. Kennedy:
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest
appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

Giving Hope

Every road in life, at some unknown junction has the potential for bumps. Each of us approaches a new problem, task, challenge or opportunity with a particular outlook. This outlook an range from a hopeful spirit to a very hopeless stance. Hope, therefore is the object upon which we direct our focus and energies. Hope. It's a small word, but it's meaning is far from small.

Element of hope.

Hope happens when an action takes place. Faith happens from a belief in the possibility. Making the small step to change comething, anything at all, opens a vista of opportunity. Hope starts being more faithful when we can see that you have some effect.

Life is so full of unpredictable beauty and strange surprises.  A thing which can't be defined properly. In life there are surprises to make one 's life challenging and enthusiastic. Life is full of surprises if you are open to seeing and appreciating them.

Joy filled day

From a wise teacher:

Within the vastness of the universe there is a limited amount of pain and a unlimited amount of joy.

Isn't that a a great thought?  Every day we have a choice.  Why joy? Well, why not joy? Joy means “a feeling of great pleasure and happiness” or “to rejoice.” I’d like to do a lot of both of those things.

I have found it is always possible to experience joy – in the simplest ways! Sometimes the simple things become magnified, in fact, in this space.
Choose to see that the beauty of life is still happening around you. LOOK for it, ask for it, investigate the world around you for it –  to find beauty and joy.

Food for Thought from Luc de Clapiers:
“The greatest achievement  of the human spirit is to live up to
one’s opportunities and make the most of one’s resources.”

One step at a time. One moment at a time.

Have a great weekend.

You Matter!

Food for Thought from Robert G. Ingersoll:  “Kindness is the sunshine in which virtue grows.”

Kindness matters. Integrate kindness into everything you do.

Food for Thought from a wise person:
One hand forward with the other held back.  Reaching myself forward and pulling others who might wish to take hold of my hand.  I love sharing whatever it is I have to share. What is your gift to give, others will take.  Enjoy the journey.  The good news is that you won't do it wrong.  Just your way.

Have a good weekend!

Staying motivated

Staying motivated and passionate!

Motivation doesn't just happen, you have to claim it! We all have goals and dreams, but it can be difficult to stick with them.  I hear from people who say things like, “I start with good intentions, but I can’t seem to maintain my consistency for a long period of time.” Or, they will say, “I get started but I can’t seem to follow through and stay focused for very long.”

Don’t worry. I’m just as guilty of this as anyone else.

For example, I’ll start one project, work on it for a little bit, then lose focus and try something else. And then I’ll lose focus on my new goal and try something else. And on and on. When everything is said and done, I’ve stopped and started so many times that I never really made much progress.

You can stay motivated in life by living passionately..

But there is no guarantee that tomorrow the passion will be the same, very same. You are asking me a definite answer assuming that there will be a definite passion. Life is not a monochrome. There are a thousand colours in it, moment-to-moment.

Do not restrict yourself to any one thing. Get rid of this concept that there is one passion and I must pursue it all my life. Do today, what is right. Do tomorrow, what is right. Do today what is right for today. Do tomorrow what is right for tomorrow and then you will be acting passionately today and you will be acting passionately tomorrow.

Realize that there will always be ups and downs. It's alright to have a 'bad day' -- how you are feeling is temporary.

Celebrate your successes! Observe your progress, review your other goals, and adjust them according to new things you've learned.

Choose to be happy by doing things that make you happy. If you feel good about yourself, you'll be more easily motivated.

There are no ‘wrong’ decisions.

What does this even mean? Usually that we haven’t got the result that we wanted. Sometimes we make a decision and we don’t get what we originally ‘wanted’, but what we do get turns out to be better.

Decision making is a very personal business — it’s about assessing what’s valuable to you. There’s no absolute best job, best car or best life to be lived: value is in the eye of the decision maker.

Each of us is different in our own special way but we also have the common qualities that make us all humans. So each of us should be treated with respect and dignity and treat others in the same way.

Busy or not busy

We each are responsible for the understanding of our part within a thing or event. Our resolution starts at the place of individual responsibility.

Most of us judge how busy we are by how much we have to do. The states of "busy" and "not busy" aren't defined by how many things there are to do. In fact, we can feel busy when there isn't that much to do, and we can feel relaxed even when there's a lot going on.

Contrary to popular opinion, there is no such thing as multitasking; the brain can tend to only one thing at a time.

Busy-ness is a state of mind, not a fact. No matter how much or how little we're doing, we're always just doing what we're doing, simply living this one moment of our lives.

Have allegiance to your intentions!

Have you ever felt like you were holding back from speaking your truth? What helped you?

Sometimes we say s or do things because we want to get a certain reaction or action out of people. However, keeping in mind we have no control over anything in life (except for our actions and our responses), why not speak your truth?

In the end, whatever happens, you’ve got nothing to lose because you have honored your truth. No regrets.

Stress free living

We were all brought to this earth for a reason and have the ability to do whatever we want with our lives. The truth is that everyone struggles in their everyday life in one way or another. It’s about staying positive and making the best of what you have.

Our real disabilities come from the inside. All of us can fall prey to self-defeating thinking by focusing on what we can’t do and comparing ourselves to others. Here are my tips for how to overcome any obstacle that life may put in front of you:

Stay focused on the positives instead of the negatives.

Don’t ever give up.

Smile. A smile goes a long way.

Don’t compare yourself to others and

find time to celebrate your little accomplishments.

Why is self awareness so important?

Self discovery/self awareness is a fundamental component of personal growth. We must take the time to discover who we are as a person. Self-awareness is really just about being aware of who we are. It can relate to knowing and examining our actions, your own values, your beliefs, personal preferences, emotions and tendencies. Since we are all different in the way we think, feel, act, learn, and perceive the world, it is beneficial to take the time to reflect in order to gain a better insight into ourselves.

Take the time to explore!

Saturday, July 9, 2016

Food for Thought from Carl Rogers:
“The degree to which I can create relationships which facilitate the growth of
others as separate persons is a measure of the growth I have achieved in myself.”

We each are responsible for the understanding of our part within a thing or event. Our resolution starts at the place of individual responsibility. No one can be your happiness — but YOU. Do your work. Love and nourish yourself. Fill your own soul and fuel your own fire. And then when, and if, they do come along, you are ready to sizzle.

Life Choices

Have you ever stopped to think about the impact your choices have had, or are having, on your life?

I wonder how many decisions we make every day. I believe it’s probably hundreds. We decide whether or not to get out of bed, what we’ll eat, what we’ll do, what we’ll think about, what we’ll say…and on and on.

While it may seem like many of our daily choices are not that significant, it’s important to understand that they do matter. Be deliberate.  Deliberate participation!

Quality of your relationships

It’s all about relationships.  I learned that lesson a long time ago and still live by it today.   Life is changing for all of us. Participation! How are you participating with self, and with others?

Self Growth

Love is the core of our personal development. Love has flow and frequency. Love is the key to our personal and spiritual evolution because love shows us how to grow. Love  is the glue that binds all things.

Love itself is a universal and spiritual law. Love is the continual energy that flows throughout all life. Love is what makes our purpose possible. Love has the power to heal, motivate, inspire, and empower us. Love is not limited.

Let love flow in our lives. Let love flow even when we feel pain, disappointment, and frustration-for all these things are an undercurrent of fear. Love does not clog the mind; in fact, it releases the creativity, wisdom, and answers that may be trapped therein. Allow you to be You. That is significant. Allow a little more tolerance with self. Give yourself the GRACE that it is okay. Everything is of a good benefit. Everything you experience adds to YOU. Nurture the Spirit of YOU.  You be the Source of Love.

Tranformational Thinking

Moments.  Look upon the situation and discover a new way. More insights. More possibilities. Give yourself choices.  There are many to anything and everything. Infinite possibilities. Hope!

Our Effect

What is your story???

Food for Thought:
“What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us;
what we have done for others and the world
        remains and is immortal.”

Little more.....

Food for Thought from Edgar A. Guest:
Let me be a little kinder,
Let me be a little blinder
To the faults of those around me,
Let me praise a little more.

Life Expansion

Each of us holds that which is truths. Perceptions. No one is more or less important than the other. How is it that you will react? What do you expect from others? What you believe others expect of you?

We all have an effect and we are effected.

Food for thought: "If you are not involved with your life, you cannot receive the joy and pleasure of it." A Wise Teacher

Your Intentions

"Never ask permission to do something. Always ask for what you want and state your intentions and ask for theirs." By Yahweh The Storyteller

Tuesday, February 2, 2016

February brings loving thoughts.  Before loving anyone else, you have to love yourself.

Learning to love yourself means accepting and appreciating the vulnerability within. Don’t let yourself become the last priority; instead, do things do show yourself you care. Treat yourself to a massage or a bath. Find ways to be grateful for things that surround you, and most importantly, for who you are. You have many qualities that are unique to you. Learn to appreciate who you are and what you can offer.

I hope you will enjoy this period of time, even if you do not have a significant other.

Every Day

Feel like you need something to lift your spirits? Life is a struggle – whatever you’re struggling or not, it helps to hear words of encouragement that remind us that we all take knocks in life, but the best things in life come through persistence.
Encouragement. It sounds like such a small thing. Subtle. But encouragement isn’t cute—it’s powerful. When you’re encouraging, you’re instilling courage. That’s huge. And that’s hard. And it’s way more compelling than motivation.
Encouragement means empowerment.
Whether you’ve just had another setback chasing your dreams, been rejected by someone you care about, faced tragedy, or you’re just feeling drained from the ups and downs of this journey we call life, remember that things can turn around in an instant. All you have to do is keep moving forward, even when it feels like it would be easier to just lay down and give up.

Just take Action.

What we think and feel is not set in stone. Happiness is a decision. Pay attention to what you are paying attention to. Set the day with a positive mindset. Recognize your potential.
Food Thought: We cannot change the scars from our past but we can change its meaning.

For me this means... In the midst of the greatest tragedy , see the glory of the process.
