Have you ever felt like you were holding back from speaking your truth? What helped you?

Sometimes we say s or do things because we want to get a certain reaction or action out of people. However, keeping in mind we have no control over anything in life (except for our actions and our responses), why not speak your truth?

In the end, whatever happens, you’ve got nothing to lose because you have honored your truth. No regrets.

Stress free living

We were all brought to this earth for a reason and have the ability to do whatever we want with our lives. The truth is that everyone struggles in their everyday life in one way or another. It’s about staying positive and making the best of what you have.

Our real disabilities come from the inside. All of us can fall prey to self-defeating thinking by focusing on what we can’t do and comparing ourselves to others. Here are my tips for how to overcome any obstacle that life may put in front of you:

Stay focused on the positives instead of the negatives.

Don’t ever give up.

Smile. A smile goes a long way.

Don’t compare yourself to others and

find time to celebrate your little accomplishments.

Why is self awareness so important?

Self discovery/self awareness is a fundamental component of personal growth. We must take the time to discover who we are as a person. Self-awareness is really just about being aware of who we are. It can relate to knowing and examining our actions, your own values, your beliefs, personal preferences, emotions and tendencies. Since we are all different in the way we think, feel, act, learn, and perceive the world, it is beneficial to take the time to reflect in order to gain a better insight into ourselves.

Take the time to explore!

Food for Thought from Carl Rogers:
“The degree to which I can create relationships which facilitate the growth of
others as separate persons is a measure of the growth I have achieved in myself.”

We each are responsible for the understanding of our part within a thing or event. Our resolution starts at the place of individual responsibility. No one can be your happiness — but YOU. Do your work. Love and nourish yourself. Fill your own soul and fuel your own fire. And then when, and if, they do come along, you are ready to sizzle.
